Frequently Asked Questions

The Questionbank is a great place to hone your Paper 1 and Paper 2 skills. Numerous case studies with Guiding Questions similar to what students will see in exam conditions are on offer, and each component comes with possible and sample answers. Working through each element of the Questionbank will prepare students for a range of text types come assessment day.

Students should determine whether they want to work on Paper 1 or Paper 2. Students opting to practice Paper 1 should focus on the “Textual Insights” and “Building a Full Response” elements. Students focusing on Paper 2 should begin with the “Literary Connections” component. Systematically working through this content will prepare students for exam day.

Once students select a particular case study, they should work through the questions in chronological order. Each case study has been carefully scaffolded to guide students through the metacognitive processes needed to build full responses. Accordingly, early questions in a case study will be easier, and they will progressively become more difficult while building key skills.

Revision Village will continue to add new case studies to the Questionbank. Additionally, students who finish the Questionbank should work through the Practice Papers, Past Papers, and the Literary Bootcamps for the texts they are studying with their teacher. There is plenty of content - please explore all of it!
