IB Mathematics Applications & Interpretation HL
The Express IA

The IB Math Applications and Interpretation (AI) HL Bootcamps are sequenced, intensive workshops designed specifically for direct revision of the most important concepts, techniques, and skills required for success on the IB exams. Each AI Higher Level Bootcamp centers a theme or topic crucial to earning a 7, structured around problems carefully crafted and explained by IB Mathematics teachers and examiners for students looking to take that final step in their revision process. The IB Mathematics AI HL Bootcamps are accompanied by culminating questions and self-evaluation tests, the perfect tool to determine what revision is required.

The AI HL Bootcamps are designed to help IB students master content using AI HL exam style questions in workshops on a specific topic or concept. Therefore, a good place to start is by identifying a subtopic that you would like to practice and improve in and go to that area of the AI HL Bootcamps. For example, if you want to prepare for AI HL Poisson Distribution examination questions, you can go to AI HL Topic 4 (Statistics & Probability) Bootcamp, and select Distributions, then Poisson Distribution. On this page there is a carefully sequenced unit covering IB Math AI HL Poisson Distribution, progressing through an introduction, workshop and conclusion. If you’re just getting started with your revision, you could start with the introduction to review the main concepts, or if you already have some confidence, you could go straight to the workshop.

The AI HL Bootcamps are perfect for revising a particular topic or concept, in-depth. For example, if you wanted to make sure you have mastered Hypothesis Testing, this section of the AI HL Topic 4 (Statistics & Probability) Bootcamp contains explanations of t-tests, z-tests, tests for rho, chi-squared tests, worked examples, introductory questions, exam style questions with written worked solutions, hint videos and solution videos. You can then test yourself with a series of culminating questions and a self-evaluation test.

This is not the aim of the AI HL Bootcamp section on Revision Village. The AI HL Bootcamps are designed to help you take that final step between learning and practising the course content, to putting it all together to answer examination questions. The AI HL Bootcamp section on Revision Village aims to support students’ revision process by providing an easy way to comprehensively recap the concepts that occur frequently on Applications and Interpretation Higher Level examinations.
