Curated and designed by the IB English Guys, these English Language SL/HL & Literature SL/HL and English Literature Bootcamps are built to complement the great work you already do in class, providing clear guidance, exemplars, and targeted practice that students can use to strengthen their thinking and writing to prepare for these important assessments.
The Individual Oral Bootcamp
The IO Bootcamp will guide you from start to finish. This resource has been enhanced with more extensive guidance and sample material for every step of the IO process. Through both video and written content, the IB English Guys will help you draft your Global Issue statement, select and analyze your extracts, and discuss the works as a whole.
A chatbot will also help you refine your global issue statement. Each submodule provides tips and skills to guide you smoothly through the assessment. At the end, you’ll also find complete high-scoring samples with recordings, so you can see how this work comes together.

The Higher Level Essay Bootcamp
The Higher Level Essay Bootcamp will guide you toward choosing a suitable topic, writing your line of inquiry, and applying critical lenses to your work. From there, it walks you through the entire writing process, covering introductions, body paragraphs, conclusions, and how to revise. It's a one-stop shop for all your HLE needs.
